Incorporating the # into his logo instantly evoked “social media”, in particular Twitter, of which Kent is an avid user. The Union Jack added a patriotic element, and was consistent with his leathers. The use of mobile phone imagery on the website reinforced the sociable message, making him seem approachable to his fan base and the use of hand draw elements, and grungy typefaces reflects his youth.
